YOUR PURPOSE. OUR STARTING POINT.

Let the learning shape the trip.

An educational visit, a performance trip, a competition, or a service-learning program each asks something different of the itinerary. Start with the educational purpose and fixed commitments, then connect the travel days, group movements, and shared experiences around them.

We help school organizers bring the ground program into focus. Share student age ranges, approximate numbers, chaperone counts, and the school’s planning requirements. The goal is a practical schedule that gives educators a clearer plan for the time on the island.

HOW VOHANA CAN HELP

The details that bring
your people together.

01

Student & chaperone movements

Discuss airport transfers and daily group transportation around the number of students and adults, luggage or equipment, hotel locations, and the day’s commitments.

02

Learning beyond the itinerary

Coordinate educational and cultural activities around the trip’s purpose. Discuss age suitability, group capacity, activity requirements, and availability before including an experience in the final plan.

03

A schedule leaders can use

Connect pickup times, activity windows, meal breaks, and return movements. Share fixed performances, competitions, or school-led sessions early so the travel plan can support them.

A THOUGHTFUL FIRST STEP

Build around your school’s requirements.

Bring the school’s approval process, adult supervision arrangements, and any activity restrictions into the planning conversation. Vohana coordinates agreed ground services; the school or organizing institution sets and manages its student supervision and consent requirements.

BEFORE WE SAY ALOHA

Your questions,
considered.

What ages can we discuss a program for?

Our school planning pathway includes elementary, middle school, high school, college or university, and mixed-age groups. Specific activities and arrangements must be considered for the ages and needs of your group.

Can you plan around a performance or sports event?

Yes. Share the event schedule, locations, equipment needs, and any fixed arrival times. We can discuss ground movements and experiences around those commitments.

Does Vohana provide student chaperones?

The ground program should be planned around the school’s own accompanying adults and supervision arrangements. Do not assume chaperones or student supervision are included in destination coordination.

What information is needed for an initial discussion?

An approximate student and adult count, age ranges, dates, trip purpose, preferred island, and budget range are a useful start. You do not need to share individual student records to begin planning.
